Situated within 19 km of Volcan Mombacho, Hostel De Boca en Boca in Granada has a number of amenities including a garden, a terrace and a bar. The property is around 23 km from Mirador de Catarina, 30 km from Volcan Masaya and 47 km from Old Cathedral of Managua. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi.

I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels in the last year, and this one is definitely top 5. The common areas are spacious, with lots of comfortable seating. The kitchen is clean, lots of counter space, and there are three stovetops. The dorms are well designed, with large lockers, fans, reading lights, and outlets inside the lockers. The bathrooms have hooks and shelves. The free breakfast is great. The tours they offer are a good value and easy to sign up for. The vibe is social but it’s not a party hostel. There’s a big staff, so someone is always available to help you, and they keep everything clean and nice. The location is very convenient, close to the main plaza and to the shopping district.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

We booked 3 rooms for our family of 5 adults and stayed for 1 night only. The hotel owner was very kind. He stayed up for our late arrival, gave us lots of useful information about Granada and stored our luggage for a few hours after checkout. The pool looked inviting but we didn't have time to use it. We paid an extra $10/room to use the air conditioner. It cooled the room well and was well worth the money. This is a clean budget hotel in a great location, available for a fair price.

It was a great stay at Selina Granada! The lounge area, lobby and pool were amazing. the rooms were also air conditioned which was such a treat. Though more of a hotel than a hostel, there were still quite a few backpackers staying in the dorms. Staff were also very friendly and helpful!

This is the best hostel in Granada, has a lovely chill vibe and social activities. It’s super clean in the kitchen, social areas and dorms with bathrooms cleaned every day. After 10pm the bar shuts and it gets quieter but that’s fine because there are party hostels very nearby if you want to continue the night. The staff were really friendly, with lots of information. We loved our stay so much we extended it!

Amazing! One of the best hostels we have ever stayed at! The staff is wonderful and so friendly and service minded, especially the two bartender Leo and Nelson! We initially only booked for 5 nights and then ended up staying almost 2 months. Good value for money and activities every night.

We have been travelling Latin America for about seven months now, so we try to be as honest as possible with these reviews to help fellow backpackers. The location of the property was great, thankfully the hostel was very quiet and the owner was very down-to-earth.
