SUPER!! I felt very welcome and comfortable during my stay, the place is clean and enjoyable. I loved the pool table and playing with other guests. The best of Areka however, is definitely their staff, those guys are amazing, super friendly, helpful and they genuinely care for their guests. I am very happy I found this hostal and plan to stay there every time I go to Panama city. We came back to the hostel for the vibe, the comfort and the people who tend to it. Generous fridges, cool terrace where you can have a drink, a smoke and a chat. Everything is spotless and Nelson cooks a delicious breakfast every morning. Most hospitable place we've been to in a month of traveling through Panama. Love you guys!

We stayed for a bit more than a week in one of the double rooms and we felt very comfortable for the whole duration. The room was well equipped with bed side tables, small shelf and possibility to hang stuff. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked well. The staff were very friendly and we were surprised how dedicated they were in keeping the place clean all the time. Also we liked the cute dogs and cats that lived on the property. Furthermore we liked the many possibilities to hang out, like in the garden, multiple tables and a working area. Also there is a ping pong table which was great fun.

We absolutely loved staying at Hostal Amador Familiar! The room was comfy and spacious, with a nice view on the garden surrounding the property. The area is very peaceful, it was wonderful waking up with the song of the birds and the rustle of leaves. In the kitchen you can always find hot coffee for free, great to wake you up in the morning! Even better is being greeted by the super friendly staff and Kai, the sweetest pup you'll ever meet and the real head of the family at Hostal Amador! Positive quotes are written all around inside the hostal, leaving you with a warm feeling. Staying here felt like finding a new home and we really hope we can visit again one day!
