The family were so lovely! Very friendly and made me feel super welcome! Easy to get into papeete- bus stop opposite 200 xpf. They pick you up from the airport for 1500xpf - super close to airport. There is a shop, bakery, Chinese takeaway and a restaurant little two mins walk away. I had a screen making my bed private - shower was great! Very powerful. Perfect place for a layover to airport. Lovely dog too!!! Xxx

It is very clean for being a dorm. And has separated ground floor beds, no bunk beds. And there are separators (= mobile walls) between the beds so u have your privacy. There is also the availability of a single room where you are all alone. That costs a bit more. Madame and her family are really nice and very helping with everything you need. I stayed twice there before flights and would book again anytime. The guesthouse is really close to the airport. They provide a shuttle service for a reasonable extra fare, or you can take the bus (station only few meters away) or even walk to the airport (1 km).

You can even get to the airport by public bus easily if you're on a budget. Stayed for the second time and very much appreciate the facilities like the lounge, bar and restaurant. Highly recommended for single travellers.
