Russell Place is a well run, clean guest house with all the basics. I stayed in both 6 and 4 person dorm. Dorm beds are spacious and well equipped with light, fan and electrical outlet. The grounds and common space are always very clean and well maintained. They offer some food at good prices. Staff is very friendly and extremely helpful with rentals, tours etc.

Everything was perfect! So chill and clean place to stay! They don’t offer any events in the evening but you can easily make friends in your room or common areas because everyone are so friendly. Good restaurant also.

The room was perfect for my time in Port Barton, it was clean, bed was comfortable and the host was very kind and gave tips for transport and tours.

Outside of town but not far So, you get the best of a peaceful place and you get to enjoy a sick night sky. Norma was an amazing host, who cooked a simple yet delicious breakfast. She hooked us up a moto rental and the bus ticket. We loved her😄

The hostel has an amazing mood in the evening you can enjoy the bar with 30 min of open bar. Staff is always smiling and helpfull, I had breakfast and dinner there... the food is a delicious!

I must say that the staff there is truly friendly and pleasant! They organized amazing trips for me, and the communication via WhatsApp was incredibly convenient. The hostel is well-maintained, clean, fresh, and in a great location. Small but friendly. Highly recommended!
