In the heart of Morro de São Paulo village, Che Lagarto hostel offers bright rooms and colourful facilities near beaches, shops and restaurants. Accommodation includes free WiFi. Staff are absolutely wonderful especially Aldi who checked me in and answered numerous questions. Unfortunately I was sick and could not attend the social events but staff made solo travellers feel very welcome to integrate with others with the social plans. Rooms are clean and airy, bathroom was spacious and plenty of space for toiletries, good kitchen, nice social areas. Location is good not far from the boats station and short walk to beaches. Laundry opposite.

The staff were excellent especially Nahuel who was very helpful and spoke English which made things alot easier for me 😊 The location is great, right across from the beach and there is a lovely restaurant on the corner a few doors down to the left. The hostel booked a tour for me but unfortunately due to weather it was cancelled, this could not be avoided. They had a lot of information on trips. The accommodation was very comfortable and I had a great experience here. Breakfast was basic but very nice.

Caramuru Hostel Caraíva se găsește în Caraíva, la 2 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja CaraIva, și oferă o grădină, un bar și vedere la mare. Great facilities, staff and atmosphere. The 8 people in my mixed dorm all became friends and spent the next few days enjoying the day trips and nightlife. It’s nice having the beach to walk by in the morning too. They also had a party on Friday with free entry for guests that was very good.

This was probably the best hostel I stayed at in Brazil! It feels like a family and has such a good location. Even though they didn’t speak English and I don’t speak Portuguese i felt included in everything. It’s a really calm and relaxing atmosphere and super close to the beach. It’s a 25 min walk to get to the city Center but there is a small supermarket around 10 min walk away. Everything was super clean. I would really recommend!!
