Set in Interlaken, 1.3 km from Interlaken East Port, Chalet Hostel @ Backpackers Villa Interlaken offers accommodation with a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace. The hotel is very clean, and everyone is friendly. I traveled alone and stayed in the mixed room but I think it was okay.

Located in Interlaken, 19 km from Grindelwald Terminal, Walters Hostel Interlaken provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We were so excited to stay at Walters again. This time with our kids. We came here 25 years ago and loved the place. The spacious large room with a good-sized table, the shared kitchen to cook in, and the amazing breakfast for a small extra fee. The breakfast is so large you can use it for breakfast and lunch, and it is brought to your room whatever time you order it for!! We loved having it with the hot chocolate!! 😍 And so close to the bus stop and a short walk anyway to Interlaken Ost if you don't take the bus (only one stop). Whilst it's charm has not changed, our kids loved the high-tech in the rooms, with wireless charging, bedside chargers and power access. Spacious shared bathroom. You can also wash and dry here for an extra fee. We were sad to hear Walter passed away in January, but so glad his son is still carrying on this wonderful service and access to cheaper accommodation to those who want to enjoy the majestic Swiss alps, God's handiwork at its finest! We love this place, and can highly recommend it! Thank you so much Morsel (sorry if I spelt that wrong), we know how hard you work to provide this service to us budget conscious travellers 7 days a week. Thank you so much. 😊🙏

Right next to Interlaken Ost Train Station, Youth Hostel Interlaken is situated between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. It offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and a snack bar. Excellent view from the window, comfortable bed and breakfast. Friendly receptionist.

Set in a traditional Swiss chalet, Lake Lodge Hostel is located directly at Lake Brienz, and offers a free private beach, a garden with outdoor furnishings, and views of the Alpine landscape. Friendly staff , very good location.

In a remote location at 1,400 metres above sea level, Bärghuus Axalp offers direct access to the ski slopes. Rooms come with free WiFi and wooden furniture. Peter is an amazing host that welcomed us with open arms as soon as we arrived. The location is incredibly stunning!! The room is large with a private bathroom and each room has their own specific kitchen supplies. Everything is well labeled and organized. It was so much more than we could’ve imagined and at the price in that area, it’s a steal! Thank you Peter for your kindness!

Youth Hostel Brienz is located on the banks of Lake Brienz, a scenic 15-minute walk from the Brienz Train Station. it was clean, breakfast is good, staffs are friendly, location right by the lake is beautiful, they even gave us female only room when we requested even though we booked the mixed dorm. thanks

Alplodge is located in the centre of Interlaken, between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. A pleasant common kitchen and free Wi-Fi in the lobby are at guests’ disposal. Excellent location next to river! The room had a very homely touch to it.

Come to Balmers and stay in the oldest private hostel in Switzerland! Our hostel is situated in three traditional Swiss wooden chalets that surround a courtyard, terras and garden. i was recommended this place by a friend and I am so happy that he told me about it! i went in January which was a low season but there was still a very good amount of people staying at the hostel. everyone staying there was AWESOME! this hostel attracts great energy and amazing people even locals come to hangout at the club downstairs! the staff was great and the owner was sooo kind. he even dropped me off at a place that he recommended to me because it was on his route and I appreciated that kindness so much especially since I was not having the best day. then he gave me chocolate and some life advice. i can’t imagine it in summer and can’t wait to go back to interlaken SPECIFICALLY for this hostel.
