Carolina Hostal is located in Viña del Mar, within 2.2 km of Blanca Beach and 2.2 km of Los Marineros Beach. Welcoming host. A bit like a B&B, with few room and a common place and kitchenette to take a breakfast (you can bring your stuff). room comfortable. nice bathroom. all super clean.

Hostal Boutique F is located on the beachfront in El Quisco, 1.1 km from Las Conchitas Beach and 1.3 km from Los Corsarios. We just to eat on the dining room of the Hostal and also at night time we ate there in a confortable place. No many people around. We really enjoy our week there.

El Mirador provides nice self-catering apartments a 10-minute drive from Valparaíso´s beach and a 10-minute walk from the Naval Museum and Paseo 21 de Mayo. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Remarkable view, non-touristic neighborhood, safe parking, kind and wonderful owner.

Providing free WiFi, Hostal Casamar-Viña offers rooms in Viña del Mar, 1.6 km from Playa Acapulco and 1.8 km from Blanca Beach. The location is great. Close to the main attractions and roads, as well as having a supermarket a couple of minutes away to get all the basics. Money well spent if you are looking to save costs and not share a hostel. You do have to share the toilet, but it's with just one more room, which I find perfect. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. For example, we received a message asking us to confirm with a transfer to a local Chilean bank, which is common practice in Chile, but I didn't have time to make it, as we booked the same day. I immediately wrote to the hotel and requested to pay cash upon arrival, and they said it was okay without hesitation. Very accommodating. Finally, they provide free tea and coffee, towels, and soap, everything you need for a couple of days' escape in Viña del Mar.

La Joya Hostel is set in the historic heart of Valparaíso, right at the foot of Cerro Barón. Offering guests free WiFi, a restaurant, a rooftop terrace, and an equipped kitchen. The hostel is very nice and everything is in great condition and super clean! One of the cleanest hostel I’ve ever seen 😊. Big supermarket and small mini market right next to the hostel. The hostel is not in the city center of Valparaíso but it has a very good bus connection to the center and also to vina del mar (10min drive in each direction). Nice dorms with lot of space and privacy. The kitchen is very well equipped and clean. Beds are very comfy.

Casa Volante Hotel offers accommodation Cerro Concepción hill in Valparaíso, only 100 metres away from the commercial area and from Paseo Yugoeslavo area. It’s a great place to meet fellow travelers with lots of rooms and common spaces. I had a particularly nice experience. I’d lost my phone days before (that wasn’t the nice part) and the manager, Victoria spend hours on end helping me find a replacement. She even ended up taking me right across town to help me pickup a secondhand phone. She was brilliant and a real life saver. I can’t recommend Victoria and her hostel enough.

The location is perfect, exactly where you want to be. The dorms were huge and the bed wide, with an individual light and a lot of places to put your stuff. There are many options to sit in the common areas, and the roof terrace is very cool in the evenings.
