This hostel really surprised me, it was absolutely amazing! My room was comfortable and clean, with some details that I really appreciated - like laundry detergent for hand washing. However, the best thing was the community rooms. I really liked the greenery, the terrace, bar and more - it was a perfect place to relax. Also, the location is great, one can walk to the Daguan park within 30min (or take a bus).

The best place to know the city of Shangri-la. The Jun family and staff are very kind and easy to get information about the city. The hostel is lovely and very comfortable. The shower is great, very warm for the cold days and always being clean. The night can sit around the wood stove, have tea and make new friends. Also has a diverse kitchen, I ordered some dishes with friends and it was all delicious! The location is also perfect, I did everything by walking.

Good location in the old town, and quiet street. The owners welcomes us warmly with tea ans yanmei! They even let us choose our room.

Located in Shuhe Ancient Town, Desti Youth Park is about 20 minutes' drive from Lijiang Dayan Old Town. It offers comfortable dormitories housed in one of the oldest Tibetan buildings in town. best hotel i have ever stayed, in the edge of Suhe ancient town, very easy to find, staff in here is very friendly and helpful, they always ready to help you with any need, here also have a lot of activities, you can listen the singer sing the beautiful songs in the night, you can play the table games with other guess, all young people in here, very relaxing and happy, if i come back Lijiang next time, I definitely will choose this hostel;

Set close to the south gate of Dali Old Town, DaLi LOFT Travelling With Hostel is a stylish accommodation featuring a 24-hour front desk, wake-up service and free WiFi throughout the property. I stayed in a dorm and in a private room. Both were amazing. Comfy bed and great facilities. Please note that my dorm had a squatting toilet. The private room had a "normal" toilet. The place is impeccably clean and modern. Location is great, very close to the touristy old town gate. Helpful staff as well

Operated by the local Nakhi people and enjoying a history of 15 years, Mama Naxi Guesthouse is a family-style hostel offering cosy accommodation in Lijiang. Free WiFi is accessible in all areas. A very comfortable, homey place, close to the Ancient town but in a less touristy neighborhood full of eateries. The manager was extremely helpful in helping me to book a bus for the gorge hike. They also let me store my luggage on the night of the hike.
