Leticias Guest House served as a great base from where to explore Amazonas, and doubly more so for us non-Spanish speakers. If coming to Amazonas, I would book them first and then plan the rest of trip in location. The hostess and her son were very friendly and spoke excellent English - and were always available to help out planning my activities. Through the Guest House, I got a customized and authentic two-day trip to the rainforest with an interpreter with me, and with a very good price. I also really loved the food the Guest House offered. Ate breakfast every morning and a customized supper. Location was nicely next to the Santander park and easily within the walking distance from the port. When I left, I walked to the airport which was a nice 15-minute trek. I initially only stayed 1 night, but ended up coming back for the rest of the trip.

A tour desk can provide information on the area. hostal was overbooked but they offered me a room in the museum next door, superfriendly and helpful people. beautifull place, and clean. Decided to stay a few more days.
