The whole family is super friendly and welcoming. We immediately felt like at home. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed! They really have an eye for details, e.g. umbrellas to take, in case of rain. Everything is super clean and the staff permanently takes care of all the facilities. The room itself was cozy and the AC was working properly. The common areas are nicely designed and we really enjoyed hanging out there. There are many shared bathrooms, so you'll never have to wait for showering. This was our best stay since weeks, thanks to the family who runs this place! Muchas Gracias!

Situated in Tamarindo, 700 metres from Tamarindo Beach, Tamarindo Backpackers features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. Comfy beds and clean facilities. The kitchen was great. The staff were awesome. Marco who runs the hostel is also a surf instructor and gave me quality surf lessons. He also helped me get a ride to the airport from one of his friends. It’s super easy to meet fellow travelers here and I met a bunch of cool people during my stay. It’s not a party hostel, but it’s still easy to find people go out with.
