Set in Praia, 2.4 km from Praia de Gamboa, Helton´s Residence offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The house where I rented a room was very clean and spacious, with a good shower, secured doors, big bed and a fan. There was a big fridge, a microwave and a functional stove. There was a ceiling fan even in the kitchen, as well as a big dining table ideal for shared meals, socialising or playing games. The owner Elton was very kind and attentive.

Situated in Praia, less than 1 km from Praia de Quebra Canela, Txada Hostel provides air-conditioned accommodation and a bar. Great staff, they do everything they can to help you and they are also very friendly. Breakfast is very good and the location is very good too (although isn’t in the city centre but 10 min walk to a nice beach).

Deluxe Aparthotel is set in Praia, within 2.2 km of Praia de Prainha and 400 metres of Justice Palace. Jericia is possibly one of the best hotel managers on the island followed closely by the very helpful Laura. As a result both my stays here were extremely comfortable. The hotel and the nearby aparthotel rooms are clean, safe and a reliable home from home with the added bonus of exceptional staff.
