Also the location of the hostel was perfect, so close to everything you needed (the market, supermarket, good and cheap restaurants). Furthermore the included breakfast was also nice with bread, scrambled eggs, fruit, tea or coffee, jam and a nice juice.

Aesthestically it is warm and pretty with flowers,wood and brick.Thrre is a huge space in the back with grass,citrus trees and an avocado tree which attracted birds.The staff which is a family were the kindest hosts.I also appreciated they offered filtered drinking water to avoid the purchase of plastic bottles.

I felt safe walking during the day to the main cathedral and parque. The natural beauty of the area is a plus, as Ibarra is surrounded by beautiful mountains.
