Room was nice and clean, receptionists and staff friendly and attention, nice view from balcony. Bed and pillow very comfy... I slept very well! Every morning served free courtesy breakfast - nice detail. Definitely coming back when I visit Las Palmas. Gracias por todo! Hasta la proxima!

Jungle House ligger i Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, under 2,9 km fra Las Alcaravaneras og 5,2 km fra Parque de Santa Catalina. I liked the fact that the volunteer to guest ratio was very high. This meant that the hostel was kept very clean. All volunteers were remarkably helpful and helped to create a really good vibe. Loved the well-equipped kitchen with 3 sinks and 3 gas hobs. Nobody had to queue to cook because there were 12 places to heat their (good quality) pans. In addition there was a drinking water tap, a kettle, a microwave oven, a pizza maker and free coffee, tea, sugar, spices and often fresh bananas on offer from their trees. Ample fridge and dry food storage boxes. Happy to report there were no ants! The bunks in my room were double-bed size which is a rare plus.

La Casita ligger i Vega de San Mateo, 30 km fra Parque de Santa Catalina, og tilbyder indkvartering med have, gratis privat parkering, fælles opholdsstue og terrasse. Beautiful location right in the middle of the islands inland nature! A little villa with a gorgeous inner courtyard and a few rooms. We got to meet some other people staying there and enjoyed a glass of wine and a chat . There’s a pool table and the host is lovely and the food they have is good , we enjoyed a bowl of pasta after a long day of travels . Full Breakfast was delicious! We would’ve enjoyed staying longer and taking advantage of the hammocks and benches outside , in summer it must be great if it’s warmer as well . Next morning we attempted to hike Pico from there , but didn’t make it and came back.

All people are very friendly and I can find all facilities I need. It locates in the very center which is convenient to walk to nearby tourist attractions.

El Rincón de los Artistas ligger i Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 2,7 km fra Las Alcaravaneras og 1,8 km fra Poema Del Mar Aquarium. Der er fælles køkken og terrasse. I was in need of peace, calm, beauty and inspiration. El Rincón de los Artistas provides all these, and so much more besides. It is an oasis. My stay there was perfect in every way.

Tamaran House ligger i Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 80 m fra Las Canteras-stranden, og har fælles opholdsstue, terrasse og udsigt over byen. This is hands-down the best hostel I've ever stayed in. This place hosts a great blend of travellers of all ages and walks of life. It's well-managed and their community of volunteers who run it are friendly and that sense of community extends to guests. The cleaning was constant, so the place was spotless (and I think encourages guests to clean up after themselves a bit more than in other hostels). If you want to stay up and socialise at night you can, but if you want to go to bed, the rooms are far enough away from the common room that noise isn't a problem. I would definitely stay here again if I am in Las Palmas
