Situated within 7 acres of lush, landscaped gardens, Madingley Hall is a 16th-century country house offering rooms with idyllic garden views. Historic Cambridge is just 15 minutes’ drive away. Just driving through the gate, past the Lodge and church set the tone and then your first glimpse of this historic stately building was enough to make an Aussie giddy. Staff were helpful, parking was plentiful, the breakfast buffet had a good selection of hot and cold choices. The rooms are not large but clean, comfortable and quiet. The gardens are lovely.
