Set in Lerwick, 600 metres from Bain's Beach, Islesburgh House Hostel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. I loved that it was warm. All the staff, from cleaning staff, night crew, community center staff and maintenance crew were helpful and friendly. I loved the building itsself, the kitchen was spotless, laundry facilities and central location. Excellent housing for price!

Ben Nevis Inn Rooms is located at the foot of Ben Nevis and offers accommodation with the added bonus of being housed next to our pub and restaurant – The Ben Nevis Inn. The location was extremely good. We checked in quite late around 11pm and staff was kind enough to wait till we arrived. They greeted us well. Room was very clean and decked up with all the required facilities. And icing on the cake was the lawn outside the room which gave a beautiful landscape view.

Comrie Croft was fantastic, really amazing! I travelled with my dog and had a fantastic time. The room was amazing and very spacious. Everyone was so accommodating!

I’ve stayed at youth hostels all over the world and I would 110% recommend this place. I’m GF and showed up the weekend before they closed yet they went above and beyond and made sure I was taken care of. They really exceeded my expectations. Great location, staff, accommodations, you name it. I’m 36 YO and sorta fretted over the youth part but this place was amazing. I really hope to be back! THANK TOU!!!

New Town Hall Bunkhouse is offering accommodation in Whithorn. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Guests can enjoy mountain views. We stayed for a week and had plenty of time to explore the local museum (you have to do the roundhouse tour), the Isle of Whithorn, the cliffs with the singing seals, Wigtown, the beach at Garlieston... all on foot and by public bus. No mass tourism, everyone is super friendly and accommodating.
