Ch'i Bocól Community Hostel is a hostel near Semuc Champey that requires a 30 minute hike to get to. The property offers creek and river access, as well views of the surrounding mountainside. It is run by solar power and has fruit and vegetable gardens on site. It features the only community kitchen in the area, and offers tours daily Adenai and Esteban were great! Our private room was comfy clean and amazing, the views were incredible and the other guests were cool. Great location right on the river by a small waterfall. Shower was only cold water but very clean, along with the bathrooms.

It is a very nice complex that has this jungle feeling but at the same time you get all the city benefits - like onsite restaurant with foods and drinks. Great and helpful staff, good food and wifi, spacious room. And the river is just outside! They will arrange transport to pick you up and also they will drop you off in the centre for the next destination.

At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a wardrobe. I loved the location, right in front of the river. It really is the closest hotel to Semuc Champey and it's only 10 minutes walk. A true privilege to be there. Also their restaurant has a balcony that is gorgeous.
