In addition to being an amazingly cozy and inviting atmosphere, she also explained her larger vision of reducing environmental impact (particularly on trash and water usage) and training local women as employees at a fair wage. Could not give a stronger recommendation for this hostel!

What a wonderful experience! The property is beautiful - you feel like you are in the jungle. They make you breakfast in the morning, and oh my god, it is good! Hanging out with everyone else in the outdoor kitchen as you wait for, and enjoy, your breakfast is lovely. The hosts are fun, friendly, and helpful at all times. They are super welcoming, and make you feel like you belong there. I didn't worry for a second about security, because they keep the property locked - you need to ring the bell to enter - and they are always on site. They have yoga mats you can borrow - you should definitely take one up to the roof to practice in the morning. The view from up there is beautiful - no lake view, but still gorgeous. My room was simple, but had everything I needed, and it was clean. They also have free Wifi for all the guests.

Hostal The Friends มีทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ในปานาคาเชล ห่างจากภูเขาไฟ Volcano Atitlan 47 กม. Friendly staff! Lovely and clean and quiet rooms! Sweet courtyard to hang out in! Perfect location! What's not to love? I wish I could have stayed here longer.

Hotel Villa del Lago ตั้งอยู่ในซานเปโดร ลาลากูนา ห่างจากภูเขาไฟ Volcano Atitlan 24 กม. The view from my room on the top floor was amazing (though those on lower floors have partially blocked views of the lake by the hotel across the street with the same name). I loved the hammock outside the room. Owners are very sweet and had a room for luggage storage after check out. I would definitely come back!

Mandalas Hostal is situated in San Pedro La Laguna and has a terrace. Free WiFi is featured. A kitchen with everything you need and a dining area. I had a very chill stay here. It’s near the party hostel so you can definitely hear music until around midnight but it didn’t personally bother me. They have a well equipped kitchen that most people stay here use so it was also easy to meet other travellers. The rooftop terrace was a cozy place to hang out and eat breakfast with a view. I used the laundry service which was same day service.

Excellent price, super welcoming staff and volunteers. Its clean, well organized. Perfect location. You are in the center of Panajachel, so bring earplugs for the noise at night. These guys have activities everyday and its very lively at their bar which includes pool, little gym and rooftop. If you're solo wanting to meet more travelers or you want to party for a good price, ths is the spot. Its pretty cool to chill as well.
