Boasting a garden, Zu-Zu Hostels is situated in Shimla in the Himachal Pradesh region, 1.1 km from Victory Tunnel and 2.2 km from Circular Road. The stuff was great! They have their own kitchen and it was really tasty. The common area was nice and I liked a lot sitting by the bonfire in the evening!) Totally recommend

Eevolve Dharamkot - An Eco Hostel in McLeod Ganj provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Perfect location in the centre of all neighbourhoods. It’s walking distance to all shops/cafes while still being isolated from the noise of the town being nestled in the woods. It’s a very peaceful, quiet, and beautiful spot. The staff were all so kind, caring and assessable; always willing to help, provide recommendations or just have a friendly chat. It felt like such a safe, comforting space that I decided to extend my stay a week longer than planned. The room had a little balcony as well as a sitting area, with so much extra space; it never felt like there were 8 girls staying in there. Also, had the best sleeps I’ve ever had in a hostel before with their super comfy clean beds. I’ll be back over and over again!

Set in Dharamshala, 25 km from HPCA Stadium, Zostel Plus Kareri offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. I was in awe of the location, surrounded by hills and snowy mountains. The whole place was immaculate at all times and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfort and welcome and answer all our questions. They had a solution for everything. It was a very peaceful and relaxing escape just what we needed. Don’t go there if you want access to shops and activities other than trekking and resting. Would definitely recommend if you like something off the beaten track. Thank you

The property is very clean, and the staff ensure that it is well maintained throughout the day. There is ample space in the common areas to socialise with other travellers both inside and on the balcony. The terrace has clothes lines to dry laundhry if needed. Rooms are clean and organised. The location of the property is great as it’s walking distance from landing site for paragliding, the main cafe street and also some nice hikes. The best part of your stay is the host, Raman, who is super helpful and welcoming. A well travelled person himself, he is always happy to make recommendations as to what to see and do, not just in Bir but the whole of India! I felt very safe and at home and he answered any query or question I had, always with a smile on his face. I enjoyed my stay so much I came back again for a second time, and am sure if I’m in Bir again, would stay here again :)

Mars Monkey Hostel & Cafe in Manāli provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Great place to relax. Beautiful view of the mountains, hostel remote from the noise. The hostel is very clean, comfortable bed, hot water. Food is also very good! Special thanks to Vishal, he is an incredible person.
