Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers a rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hotel. One of the best decorated hotels ive stayed not only iceland but anywhere. Every piece and every color were obviously thought through. İt was inspiring.

We stayed a night at this hostel and we loved our stay! The project is very interesting to convert a school into a hostel. The communication was excellent and the owner very welcoming person. The rooms are very spacious and the kitchen area the same and fully equipped. The breakfast is self service and provides everything to start your day! There is tv room to relax and even sports area! It is an amazing place located in a very picturesque town! We were very happy to drive there and stay at this place. We wish all the best with the project and we recommend this place!

Húsey Hostel & Horsefarm features accommodation 55 km from Egilsstadir. The hostel has family rooms. At the hostel the rooms include a shared bathroom with a shower. It was our sixth time visiting Iceland and we wanted to explore the north and east of the country. Because our daughter loves horses, we chose a farm stay, with the added bonus of being really off the beaten tracks and giving that "end of the world" sensation. We were not disappointed. We were welcomed by the host and her dog Aska, who gave us a tour of the hostel building (the other being the family house). It's a traditional, mostly-wooden building with plenty of rooms, a spacious kitchen and a veranda (which we could not enjoy in October due to the temperature but must be very pleasant in the summer months). We had a large room for the three of us and our own bathroom across the hallway. Despite a windy and rainy night, we slept really well. Make sure to bring food with you for dinner/breakfast as it's a long drive to the nearest shops ;-) In the off times, my daughter and I went to greet the friendly Icelandic horses in their pastures. We had a busy program the next day so couldn't stick around much longer but we would have enjoyed the hikes in the areas for bird watching and possibly seal watching. Would definitely come back for a longer period.

Nastanitev Hafaldan HI Hostel - Harbour Building se nahaja v kraju Seyðisfjörður. Nudi brezplačen WiFi na vseh površinah in brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. This isn’t something I usually notice but the hostel was very well structured. The layout was very convenient and comfortable (showers were separated nicely with lots of space, lots of space for luggage in the rooms and under the bed, head space on top bunks etc) and there were outlets and usb ports in each bunk. The entire building had such a comfortable, welcoming vibe, not to mention it was very aesthetic and had an incredible view of the mountains and ocean. Nicely designed with a funky color palette and lots of decor. It was a 14 minute walk to the town centre but it had guides, maps, board games, and books all in the hostel. The kitchen was clean and had all the utilities organized and sanitized nicely. Staff were incredibly kind and accommodating and even helped me set up a ride to the airport. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Located in Djúpivogur village, this hostel offers rooms with free WiFi. The rooms are located in a separate house, while there is a shared kitchen in the main building. Amazing hostel. Super clean. Well organised. Everything that you need for a night or a few was there. Clean towels, bedsheets. Essentials in the kitchen. Clean hallway. Good equipped bathroom etc. Honestly one of the best hostel I have been at! Keep the good work. Oh ! And the kind staff was also amazing 👏🏼

Nastanitev Helgafell Hostel nudi nastanitvene enote v mestu Djúpivogur. Ponudba vključuje skupno kuhinjo in skupni salon, na voljo pa je tudi brezplačen WiFi v celotni nastanitvi. Otroci so bili najbolj navdušeni nad novim košarkaškim in nogometnim igriščem v bližini. Imeli smo "midnight turnir" v nogometu 🙂.
