Opened in April 2013 with brand new facilities, Piece Hostel Kyoto is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station. It features a spacious and comfortable lounge, a tatami (woven-straw) terrace and a wall-size map with latest event information around Kyoto. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property, while portable WiFi devices are available for guests to use during their stay for an additional fee.

Private rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV and a washbasin. A semi-double size bunk (120cm wide) in the dormitory rooms comes with a luggage space and a security locker. The atmosphere was great here. I loved the shared area and the complimentary filter coffee. Lots of activities hosted at the hotel like movie night etc.

The female-only property is close to several noted attractions, around 1.2 km from Kyoto International Manga Museum and around 1.3 km from Heian Shrine. Kiyomizu-dera Temple is 1.8 km from the hostel. it was very clean, well taken care of and the staff extremely nice. Probably my favorite hostel in Japan.

Offering rooms in a traditional Japanese-style building, Guesthouse ITOYA Kyoto is a 7-minute walk from the Horikawa Imadegawa Bus Station. Imadegawa Train Station is a 17-minute walk away. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the building. Wonderful experience. I couldn't imagine better choice than this one. Spent 4 days in Kyoto and the place was awesome to come back and rest.
