This female-only property is set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, CAFETEL Kyoto Sanjo for Ladies is a 4-minute walk from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. Such a cute place to stay! I felt so safe, staff were lovely, facilities were clean, great location. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Kyoto!!

A 5-minute walk from Higashiyama Subway Station, Guest House Ga-Jyun features free Wi-Fi at the entire property. The wooden terrace has chairs overlooking the garden. We are small house with 5 rooms. One of the best locations in Kyoto, right next to the east district but also in a quiet street that doesn't get a lot of traffic. The breakfast is great(tons of fruits, which is a rarity in Japan) and makes this place great value. Very communal atmosphere but also plenty of privacy if you prefer it. The staff is always around to help you with anything.

Only a minute’s walk from Kyoto Art Museum, Guest House Kobako offers private Japanese-style rooms. It features free WiFi, a free-use kitchen and a washing machine. One of our favorite stays in Japan. So comfortable and homey. The location is phenomenal. Our host Yuki was kind and welcoming. It was the only place we visited where we just loved hanging out, in the room and in the kitchen. Wonderful free coffee too from the cafe at the front!

Guesthouse ITOYA Kyoto erbjuder rum i en traditionell japansk byggnad, 7 minuters promenad från busstationen Horikawa Imadegawa. Imadegawa tågstation ligger 17 minuters promenad bort. Owner was very helpful and enthusiastic, always making sure that we were comfortable... even with things like issues with the washing machine, he was very attentive and helped until the very end.. bus stops very close to the accomodation so most of the sites were very easy to visit, some being walking distance like kinkakuji, imperial palace, and nijou castle.. definitely would recommend and return again.

A 15-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Yasaka Shrine, Guest House Gojo offers simple and cosy Japanese-style dormitory accommodation with free Wi-fi, futon beds and shared bathrooms. It was so cosy from the moment we looked inside, and we were warmly greeted upon entering. Their toast and coffee in the morning was the perfect meal to start the day, and they even made us breakfast before they opened because we had to leave by 9am! the atmosphere of the place felt so homely 😊 will definitely be back!

ホステル祇園SORA har ett perfekt läge i området Higashiyama Ward i Kyoto, 7 minuters promenad från Gion Shijo station, mindre än 1 km från Shoren-in Temple och 19 minuters promenad från Heian-helgedomen. Very quiet and immaculately clean. Very large showers and a bathtub available.

Kaya Yamanoie ligger i Yosano, 11 km från Yumikiro Castle Ruins, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. Beautiful location and the owner has an eye for every little detail. We had a magnificent breakfast. Next time I will make sure we can have diner to! A place to wind down completely and enjoy nature at its best.

SHIN kyoto offers accommodation with a rooftop terrace, just a 3-minute walk from JR Tanbaguchi Station. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Nijo Castle is 2.1 km away. Located close to public transport, and close to Kyoto station (2 stops away). The bed was super comfy, the amenities were super clean and modern, there’s a full sized kitchen if you want to cook, and a shared space with a projector screen and a cute rooftop. Shin (the owner/manager) goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. His English is great and gave me tips on cafes and restaurants in Kyoto as well as how to navigate around Kyoto (it was my first time there so very helpful).

Colours ligger bekvämt beläget i centrala Kyoto och har luftkonditionerade rum, en trädgård, gratis WiFi och en terrass. Detta vandrarhem med 1 stjärna har ett gemensamt kök och bagageförvaring. Perfect place to stay! The owner was very welcoming and we felt like home. We could leave our luggages until late at night after the check-in. Not so much to say! Just perfect!
