It’s a great place to relax and cozy up with a good book. There were only two other people staying when we were there so it didn’t feel like a hostel. Definitely recommend getting the dinner - it was very good and there aren’t any other nearby options. Sake tasting was fun! Like all the places I’ve stayed at in Japan, it was extremely clean.

It’s beautiful to be in the common area with those glass windows and everything snowy outside and the lodge is very clean. Good wifi too. But the best is their staff. They are welcoming and very kind. Flexible and helpful. They drove me with my suitcase and ski gear case. Thank you very much for everything I felt very welcomed and comfortable

It was perfect for getting us fed and up and mountain quickly in the morning. Place was clean and our 6 bed dorm was much more spacious than we were expecting (and very comfortable). The staff were absolutely awesome and gave us some great recommendations and advice.
