Situated in Nagiso, 36 km from Ōi, Hostel Yui-an features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The hostel is beautifully designed and in a gorgeous setting. It’s a great place to relax and cozy up with a good book. There were only two other people staying when we were there so it didn’t feel like a hostel. Definitely recommend getting the dinner - it was very good and there aren’t any other nearby options. Sake tasting was fun! Like all the places I’ve stayed at in Japan, it was extremely clean.

They are around in the common area and are interested in a conversation. This lead to a lot of social interaction including both guests and staff. + clean place + location close to Zenko-ji temple + all in all the perfect hostel experience

A 9-minute walk from JR Kamishiro Station, K's House Hakuba Alps features a common lounge area and rooms with free Wi-Fi. It is located in Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture. It’s beautiful to be in the common area with those glass windows and everything snowy outside and the lodge is very clean. Good wifi too. But the best is their staff. They are welcoming and very kind. Flexible and helpful. They drove me with my suitcase and ski gear case. Thank you very much for everything I felt very welcomed and comfortable

The owner very nice, and feel at home… With great mountains view from our room, 1 night not enough for stay in this house. Very clean & comfort, free drink 🥰

It was crossing the street from the station! Very convenient and nice walking trail into Tsumago. The house is well equipped and the staff was super friendly.

Located in Hakuba within 9 km of Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area and 44 km of Nagano Station, Starfall Lodge features rooms with free WiFi. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the shuttles to the mountains. It was perfect for getting us fed and up and mountain quickly in the morning. Place was clean and our 6 bed dorm was much more spacious than we were expecting (and very comfortable). The staff were absolutely awesome and gave us some great recommendations and advice.
