The location was unprepossessing as we approached, but in fact it is very convenient for the local black-sand beach and Yeosu, and our rooms had a view out to sea over the harbour. There's a convenience store a short walk along the road. The self-catering units are modern, comfortable, well-equipped and spotlessly clean, simply but thoughtfully furnished in Korean style (bed with mattress, but low dining table and no chairs). The soundproofing shuts out all traffic noise. It's clearly a family business and we received a cheerful welcome in spite of some confusion about the nature of the booking. We couldn't have wished for a better end to a long day's touring.

Wonderful room - very spacious, great view over the bay, very comfortable bed, fantastic bathroom. Good facilities in the lobby - microwave, fridge, etc. Having the shop on site is super-handy and had a good selection of food and drink. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful, and there is a cute cat on site. I absolutely loved the area - it was more peaceful as it is across the bay from the big hotels, providing a beautiful cityscape view as dusk falls. Lovely to sit by the water and watch the fishing boats, and it was fascinating exploring the immediate vicinity and watching them process the catches. Loads of options for eating out/takeaways nearby. Make sure you go for a walk along the promenade to watch the sea life. Really wish I could have stayed longer but I was booked on a flight to Jeju. Short taxi rides to airport/train station.

That was awesome during the cold nights in march. The room and bathroom are big enough, you have a lot room to store your stuff and a fridge. The breakfast is self service - there is a kitchen, where toast, ham, cheese, eggs and spreads are provided (as well as milk, coffee and tea). You just agree on your breakfast time the day before, as there is only limited space for seating. The host was really nice, too. The location is also great for exploring the city - so definitely recommended.

Nogodan Guesthouse and Hotel er staðsett í vestri jaðri Jirisan-fjalls og býður upp á bæði sérherbergi og svefnsali. Our stay here was amazing. Mr. Jung drove us personally to all places and even accompanied us. He had a lot to tell about the area and had amazing tips. He knows all the nice spots and knows everything there is to know about Jirisan mountain. The food at the restaurant was also amazing. Te staff is just lovely. We would love to visit again. I would recommend this to everyone who loves hiking, the outdoors or just a nice, peaceful stay to rest. Thank you mr. Jung!
