I went there after some recommendations of a new hostel opening in Georgetown, so i had high expectations but this place surpassed them!! I've been to many hostels over Asia and Europe, but this hostel is amazing, all new, great facilities and staff, super clean and very good common areas that some hostels usually lack. Absolutely recommend going there if you are looking for a friendly environment or even a place where to relax and work on your laptop!!

Situated in George Town, 2.4 km from Northam Beach, Aayu Beach St features air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. Really great place, spotlessly clean and very comfy bed, great AC and strong WIFI. Plenty of showers/toilets so never had to wait and the location is right in the heart of Georgetown. The host is really great, very friendly and considerate, also very quick to respond to any messages/queries. I would definitely come back!

Very good budget accomodation. Simple, minimalist, but got all the basic required : a comfortable bed, aircond, Wi-Fi and hot showers. It's getting hard these days to find budget accomodation that is clean but this place is perfectly clean. Bedsheets and towels are fresh. The street is quiet. Got hot/cold water dispenser on first floor and a fridge if you need to store medication. No reception but the customer service through WhatsApp is quickly responsive and accommodating.

Set in George Town, less than 1 km from Northam Beach, Sogor Female Dormitory offers air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. It was really clean and spacious. Fellow female travellers were nice and friendly. It felt like a house more than a hostel. CP was really friendly too! This is probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in!

Location is perfect, staff are super helpful, the communication with the hosts is really easy and fast and the facilities are great - everything is organized, clean and new...there is a common space where i could work and the wifi is great. i really recommended this place.

Set within 1.4 km of Northam Beach and 1.2 km of Wonderfood Museum, New Great Shanghai Female Hostel offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in George Town. The place was quiet during my stay and it felt clean and nice. My bed was comfortable and I had a great sleep. Outlets were right next to me, so I can conveniently charge my devices, especially, I was assigned at the top bunk bed. Jean was very helpful and accommodating! She helped me get to the hostel from the airport and even recommended some shops I could visit. Communication was great between the host and guest!
