The owners Daniela & Tony went above and beyond for their guests to make sure we were all comfortable and had everything for our stay. Beds in the dorm were comfortable, bathroom was clean, everyone had a fan, drinking water provided, hammocks, a delicious affordable breakfast was also an option which I highly recommend! The location was close to the ferry port, it was very easy to explore other parts of the island by renting a scooter.

I had an amazing stay at Hostel Clandestino. I booked a room in the VW bus, which unfortunately had been booked already so Corrina upgraded me to the private cabin. Very nicely done, just completed. Beautiful and peaceful spot with everything you need and more.

La Urraca Loca Hostel er með garð, verönd, veitingastað og bar í Balgue. Gististaðurinn er með grillaðstöðu og er staðsettur í innan við 12 km fjarlægð frá Maderas-eldfjallinu. Can only recommend that place, so beautiful, green and you can see the work and love they put in to build that place as it is. Very clean Free filtered water Really good breakfast for an additional cost

Perfect place to stay if you are looking for a cozy hostel with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. Perfect location in relation to the Spanish school to improve your Spanish, not to mention you have several top surf spots within walking distance! There is a large living room with a bar where you can get drinks. Everyone usually sits here chatting, drinking, watching a movie, playing ping pong or a game of pool. Almost every evening there is something to do in or around the hostel such as Burger night, Taco night and Trivia night. There is a communal kitchen with all amenities and various places where you can relax, such as several hammocks or sofas. The Garden will soon be renovated with, among other things, a volleyball field. There is already a slackline and campfire spot available! And don't forget to cuddle or play with the cutest dog (Lobo) and sweetest cat (Venus)!

I had an incredible time there; the staff was fantastic, and the daytime ambiance was wonderfully relaxed. The food is not only delicious but also incredibly budget-friendly. Plus, on Thursdays and Sundays, they throw some fantastic parties – the perfect blend of fun and work-friendly atmosphere.

Hush Maderas er staðsett í San Juan del Sur og býður upp á veitingastað, bar, sameiginlega setustofu og garð. Gististaðurinn býður einnig upp á grill. We stayed in de dormroom, they are double beds. We were with two friends and shared a bed, it's a little bit tight but still comfy. The deck with pool is amazing and it's only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Loved the vibe and the staff. On top off that the breakfast was amazing! Actually the food in general is very good, especially if you take the size of the kitchen into account. They were also very accommodating when we wanted to drop off our surfboards a couple days before our stay

Hostel Julieta er staðsett í Rivas, 33 km frá Krist Níkaragva Krists, og er með verönd. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði og einkabílastæði eru í boði gegn aukagjaldi. Ended up coming back here 3 times, located in a really nice quiet part of Rivas. Great value for money, comfy double bed, very clean, well built rooms with a lot of airflow!. The owners are what made this place! Extremely kind and were able to help with any Nicaragua / Rivas related questions. Also fluent in English and Dutch if that helps. Definately recommend staying here if your passing through Rivas, definitely a underrated little town.

Los Chocoyos er staðsett í Mérida, 3,9 km frá Maderas-eldfjallinu og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, verönd og veitingastað. Such great value for money! Right on the water. Kayaks to rent. Amazing staff who will go out of their way to help. Rooms are basic but wouldn’t expect much more for the price.
