Located in Tola, a few steps from Playa Gigante, Monkey House Hostel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. This place is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed so far in Central America. The views, the food, the coffee, vibe and staff are amazing. They have boards for rent or sale, kitchen is well equipped, path down the cliff to the beach, and comfortable beds. We loved that William really took the time to talk to and get to know us on our stay. So good that we didn’t want to leave!

Facing the beachfront in Moyogalpa, Rancho Tranquillo features a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi and a tour desk are featured. All units at the hostel are equipped with a seating area. The owners Daniela & Tony went above and beyond for their guests to make sure we were all comfortable and had everything for our stay. Beds in the dorm were comfortable, bathroom was clean, everyone had a fan, drinking water provided, hammocks, a delicious affordable breakfast was also an option which I highly recommend! The location was close to the ferry port, it was very easy to explore other parts of the island by renting a scooter.

The hostel is beautifully located inside a lot of green, just a 5min walk from the maderas beach. Everything is beautifully integrated into the environment and the hosts are very kind.

La Urraca Loca Hostel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Balgue. Featuring barbecue facilities, the property is located within 12 km of Maderas Volcano. Everything was great, the rooms are super nice and the hosts were extremely helpful in helping us booking tours and renting scooters.

Perfect place to stay if you are looking for a cozy hostel with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. Perfect location in relation to the Spanish school to improve your Spanish, not to mention you have several top surf spots within walking distance! There is a large living room with a bar where you can get drinks. Everyone usually sits here chatting, drinking, watching a movie, playing ping pong or a game of pool. Almost every evening there is something to do in or around the hostel such as Burger night, Taco night and Trivia night. There is a communal kitchen with all amenities and various places where you can relax, such as several hammocks or sofas. The Garden will soon be renovated with, among other things, a volleyball field. There is already a slackline and campfire spot available! And don't forget to cuddle or play with the cutest dog (Lobo) and sweetest cat (Venus)!

Hostel Julieta is set in Rivas, 33 km from Christ of the Mercy Nicaragua, and has a terrace. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. This is a comfortable, very affordable place, and is walking distance from downtown market. Julieta is as kind and helpful as you could ask for. I've been here numerous times, and will continue to anytime I choose to visit Nicaragua.

The location on the beach is magical, you can wake up to the lake & watch amazing sunsets. The staff are wonderful too they cooked up a meal for me one night even though the kitchen was closed & upgraded me to a better room because they had some spare & they speak English. Perfect if you want to escape the busy inland places like Granada, San Juan Del Sur or Rivas for a few days.
