The hostel has family rooms. the place is clean and well equipped. the facilities were excellent. the location is extremely beautiful. I would definitely come here again and stay for a few days for relaxation.

Set in a traditional wooden building, Tromso Activites Hostel is a family owned hostel located 700 metres from Tromsø Hurtigruten Ferry Terminal and 1.2 km from Polaria Aquarium. It offers budget-style rooms with free WiFi. Late check-in is possible via a self-service machine. i came here in an emergency after i have lost a place to stay. as a lonely female traveller i got a bed in the woman's room which was exactly what i needed. i had so much privacy even when we have been three over my stay. i truly enjoyed the company while i got a lot of privacy the same time. i am used to live in a sharing flat, therefore i had no problems to adapt living with many people in the same house. they also have a great cuddling dog named burger.

Probably one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Really clean, great facilities and very central. Added bonus was that we were given our own room despite booking beds in the dormitory. Plus they have a very cute dog called Burger.

You could say that it the perfect hotel for backpackers who feel too old (or do not want) to stay at a hostel. Not really low budget but for a good price you get everything you need: bed, shower, breakfast, friendly staff... Would definitely recommend it.

It was an exceptional choice, very friendly staff, great location, underfloor heating in room. Excellent food in cafe too. Felt very safe as a solo traveller. Definitely recommend this place.

Above the centre looking over the fjord, close to the bus stop from the airport. Friendly, helpful staff, room was basic but comfortable and everything needed was there. Has a hostel feel to it with the common room and kitchen, but it's more a cheap hotel in reality. Free coffee available, decent value, would stay again.

Convenient hostel on a centrally located road near the harbourfront without too much traffic. The room rate isn't cheap for sharing in a two-bunk dormitory room but this option still eases the pain of Tromso's otherwise consistently expensive accommodation. The shared kitchen was quite well stocked with utensils and the fridge and storage cupboards spacious. Coco has a pleasant atmosphere and 24 hrs access by front-door code.
