They went over and beyond the call of duty by getting me a heater and filling my thermos with hot tea, as I had just come from warm Thailand with nothing but a swim suit, shorts, tank top, and flip flops, plus they got me a cab ride with their friend for a good price. The towels and comforter smelled extremely clean and the people were friendly and cheerful (the visitors and staff).

Clean, great location at the center of Thamel yet quiet from the busy streets, excellent staff: helpful, kind. I stayed around 20days there and felt very welcome in a place far away from home.

Nextdoor Patan features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Pātan. The property is located 2.4 km from Patan Durbar Square, 3 km from Hanuman Dhoka and 3.5 km from Kathmandu Durbar Square. I think this is the nicest dorm ive stayed in during my last 15 years of staying in backpacker's hostels, very clean, every bed has a curtain for privacy, its very spacious with plugs and a side table inside the bed area.. whoever designed this gave alot of attention to detail and maximised privacy in a shared space. The building has nice art around, there are several toilets and showers which are very clean and the hand soap provided is nice quality. The free breakfast is adequate and different options are given each day, also the lunch is good for the day i dont feel like go outside.. The local area is very nice residential and quite middle class, i found walking in the local area pleasant and within 20 mins is a great variety of restaurants and coffee shops that are very modern and varied in tastes and aesthetics.. of course Patan durbur square is also nearby to experience a more traditional cultural attraction within walking distance..

Not only was Sunny incredibly warm-hearted and friendly, but the entire staff was helpful and welcoming. Only 30 minutes walk to tourist destinations made it easy to exploring, and its affordability and easy-to-find location were definite pluses. Plus, the rooms were clean and comfortable, adding to the overall great experience. Highly recommended.

Located in Pātan, 1.1 km from Patan Durbar Square, Budget Backpacker's Hostel provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The staff was really friendly and helpful, especially Garima. The beds are simple but comfy, with super soft blankets. It's the closest hostel to Patan Durbar Square that I could find on booking, about 10 min walking to get there. As the family just started the hostel, facilities are basic but newly renovated, so very clean and in good condition. They told me they have great plans to furnish and decorate the rooftop terrace to create a more cozy common area.

I liked the people, they are amazing - very kind and supportive, very hospitable and friendly. With perfect English, easy to understand and interesting to have conversation. Practically always someone is there if you need any help. Otherwise they are on the phone to help. The rooms and the house is very clean. Food is delicious! Good sound insulation in the house. Hot water available.

The staff are amazing; super nice and helpful. The food is great and lots of variety. Location is perfect especially if you're planning to go on a trek. No more than 10 minute walk to all the trekking shops. They also have their own adventure booking company at the hostel which is also great! Not far from the airport, just a cheap cab ride. Everything is clean and well taken care of. Don't think twice, just book it.
