Very nice staff, very clean rooms. They even offer free soup very night, have free popcorn and a hot-pot. Shared rooms were great and everything was there you might need.

Just 900 metres from Grey River, a popular swimming spot, Brunnerton Lodge and Backpackers offers free Wi-Fi and free bicycle rental. Located in a historic miner’s pub, it features rooms with lovely garden and mountain views. My partner and I both absolutely loved brunnerton lodge. It's a lovely small, personal place and we felt at home straight away. Not like one of those modern big hostels without a soul, but a small lodge, warm-hearted people and a beautiful garden. Very close to greymouth and the price was absolutely great!

YHA Tripinn Hostel Westport is 4 minutes’ drive from Carters Beach and the popular Coaltown Museum. Westport Airport is a 12-minute drive away. We enjoyed our stay very much, the building is beautiful, rooms clean. We loved the common area the best. Probably the best kitchen and dining room I've ever seen in a hostel. All perfectly equiped and clean.
