At the hostel, every room includes a patio with pool view. Rooms are complete with a private bathroom fitted with a shower, all guest rooms at El Arca de Pachue have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and some rooms also feature a terrace. At the accommodation the rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels. Everything! From the moment we arrived until we sadly had to leave, the staff were just amazing. The room was super clean with a lovely view of the ocean. The day we arrived, Hector drove us into town and gave us a tour of the town. The owner, Francisco, asked us to join him for some wine. Never have we had such an amazing stay. He even organised massages for us the following day. The location is like being in paradise..we had the entire beach to ourselves. Sadly we had to leave, but I couldn't recommend this place enough! Thank you Francisco and all your staff and your lovely dogs for making our trip so special.

Conveniently situated in the Bella Vista district of Panama City, Blu Hostel is located 7.8 km from Bridge of the Americas, 8.1 km from Ancon Hill and 8.6 km from Rod Carew National Stadium. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. This was my fourth stay at this hotel. Hotel has hot water unlike many in Central America. Beds were comfortable. WII was decent in room. There is a shared balcony on each floor with a couple plastic chairs. The employees are great. They have always been very helpful. One of the receptioist has decent English language skills. Her English has improved since my first stay. If you turn left as you exit hotel, there is a minimart just past the first cross street. Or turn right at this same cross street (after turning left as you departed hotel) and follow this street. You will arrive at Via Espana near several (maybe 10) different restaurants. Or, turn left at this same cross street, and you are only 1 short block from Via Argentina.

You can play billiards at the hostel. I loved the design, the other travelers interacting and cooking together, the overal feel of the place was a special one. I loved the most the lounge areas (with a pool table) and the terrace with the pool. The two kittens spiced up the place.

At the accommodation each room is fitted with bed linen and towels. Hostal Amador was an absolutely wonderful experience when it comes to the staff, location, and facilities. The couple who run the hostel are so hospitable, kind, engaging, and extremely welcoming to travelers from around the world. They even helped me get a Covid test at the last minute when I realized I needed one in order to transit through the USA. The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable! The kitchen facilities are well-stocked and the morning coffee was not only complimentary, but delicious too! I also felt very safe walking to the local mini supermarket, and would have liked to explore the leafy residential area more than I had time for. The WiFi was quite good and fast enough too, and I believe there was a printing service available. Additionally, they arranged to pick me up at the airport and for a very (VERY affordable cab ride to the international airport for my departure. Overall, I had a lovely stay, would happily stay again, and highly recommend Hostal Amador.
