The kitchen is well-equipped. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I am also glad to find a female dorm with the bathroom inside the room. They even have an extra toilet so you have 2 toilets for a room of six. It also has a good location, 5 minute walk to the supermarket and bus station. The port is also nearby. I forgot to mention that the hostel has a back yard and wonderful views. One side you can see mount Pico and the other is Sao Jorge island.

Sve smeštajne jedinice nude balkon sa pogledom na vrt. 5 star hostel! Super clean and everything seems newly decorated, this place was decorated with great care. Lockers in the dorm room (bring a padlock or they offer to give you one), views of the mountain and a great kitchen, lounge and garden. Location was central and 2 mins to the port.

Accomodation was clean and tidy. Kitchen facilities were good and communal area comfortable. Location was very central. Staff was also very helpful and friendly.

Perfect location, nice architecture of building, beautiful view from in front of the house, good cleaning of place, nice breakfast included compared to price - really good value for money

Objekat Engenho Hostel se nalazi u gradu Lažes do Piko. Sve smeštajne jedinice poseduju flat-screen televizor sa satelitskim kanalima, frižider, aparat za kafu, tuš, fen za kosu i sto. Very nice location, one of the best in Pico, in my opinion. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets. Plenty of parking spaces and a nice view over the ocean :) The house is very clean and equipped with the basics one might need. The communication was very good, at all times there was a phone number available. And the bonus: books! Books everywhere!! Loved this place so much!

This Azorean guest house is a 15-minute walk from the sea and features comfortable accommodation overlooking Faial and the Pico Mountain, the highest point in Portugal. Nice, calme place, very strong breakfast!
