Everything was superb! The location is near the beach, with plenty of nive restaurants nearby. The rooms were big and full of natural light. The common space was well organized, and equipped.

Located within a traditional and historical building in Funchal old town, Santa Maria Hostel is a boutique hostel featuring a vintage-style décor. I had a nice stay at this hostel, which is very centrally located, in the street full of small restaurants, close to the market and shops, close to the main bus station (from where you go to all other parts of the island) and the town beach. Room was big enough with quite comfortable beds, clean, and the kitchen has everything you need.

Friendly owner, good parking, nice clean rooms. Breakfast was a bit of a surprise, even if the offer was not big, everything was good.

Hostellin kahvila ja sen yhteydessä oleva pieni pop up kauppa olivat muutenkin ihanat.

Talo ja huone vanhoja ja aistikkaasti sisustettuja. Huone ei nyt maaliskuussa ollut liian kuuma, mistä on valituksia ollut. Huoneessa oli tuuletin.
