Everything was superb! The location is near the beach, with plenty of nive restaurants nearby. The rooms were big and full of natural light. The common space was well organized, and equipped.

29 Madeira Hostel set in the centre of Funchal, Madeira Island. The property offers budget accommodation in dormitories and private rooms. Everything. Very comfortable bed, good location, nice patio, good kitchen. Atmospheric house. I'll be happy to stay here again in future.

Located within a traditional and historical building in Funchal old town, Santa Maria Hostel is a boutique hostel featuring a vintage-style décor. I had a nice stay at this hostel, which is very centrally located, in the street full of small restaurants, close to the market and shops, close to the main bus station (from where you go to all other parts of the island) and the town beach. Room was big enough with quite comfortable beds, clean, and the kitchen has everything you need.

Set in Prazeres, 25 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools, Casa De Cha Prazeres offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Friendly owner, good parking, nice clean rooms. Breakfast was a bit of a surprise, even if the offer was not big, everything was good.

Featuring a garden, bar and views of sea, Jaca Hostel Funchal is set in Funchal, 800 metres from Almirante Reis Beach. Highly recommend staying here. We stayed in a private room and it was beautiful, clean and spacious and also, very quiet at night so we slept peacefully! Great, central location on a quiet street. Also the breakfast was incredible. The best we had in Madeira and one of the best we've had anywhere!! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Madeira! The staff were super friendly and helpful too. Thanks Jaca Hostel team for taking such good care of us!
