Great place to come to to get off the beaten track, I booked on the way through from Koh Tao to Bangkok, ended up staying three nights. Run by a father-son team, they were excellent, took care of breakfast, scooter rental and taxi to the station. Nice quiet bar with locally crafted beers available. I stayed in the bedroom, with has lots of colourful lights for a good time :) P.S. did I mention they have dogs?

We had a family house which was modern and nicely decorated next to the pool. The owner is the nicest lady who couldn’t have done more to help us. She picked us up from the ferry and took us to the train station the next day. The accommodation is next to a nice cafe where we bought a late lunch. Breakfast was good with lots of free options such as fruit and toast, tea and coffee. She had three bikes that we could borrow on-site. Wi-Fi was excellent and the pool was lovely.

Located within 10 metres from Chomphon Night Market, Salsa Hostel offers cosy dormitory rooms with air-conditioning. The property features free Wi-Fi, a cafe and a bar. The staff is extremely friendly and tries to help you in every way possible. Also, the cats are so cute!

We can only repeat what’s been already said. Some of the negative reviews , that it’s loud , we can’t understand . A great place with awesome food and coffee.
