Aforetime House @ Samui has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Taling Ngam Beach. Sam, the owner, is so friendly and helpful! The hostel is clean, comfortable and in a lovely peaceful location. You are less than a minute's walk away from the beach, as well as being opposite a little shop and restaurant. There are plenty of other gorgeous beaches nearby as well, I have stayed in over 20 hostels and this one is up there with my absolute favourites! You can order breakfast in the morning, which is very affordably priced, and you can enjoy it on the balcony. They have kayaks and SUPs available for hire, as well as scooters/ mopeds - the latter I highly recommend for at least a day so that you can explore the island. You can also organise for Sam to pick you up from the jetty and drop you off as well, which is a big help and is much more reasonable than getting a taxi. Sam's hospitality makes this place special, I wish I could have stayed longer!

Located in Koh Samui, Baan Hinlad Home and Hostel has a garden. Free WiFi is available and in-house parking is provided. All units at the hostel are equipped with a seating area. Beautiful and peaceful place, far enough from the crowds but not so far from the beach by motorbike. You can rent a motorbike directly at your accommodation, ask in Anjar. Anjar, the owner, is the kind of person you are really happy to meet on your trip. Perfect from the start to the end of your stay. He comes directly to the pier and takes you through your accommodation and does the same when you leave, free of charge. He is always available to give you advice and help, always smiling. Situated in Chaweng and with Chaweng Beach reachable within less than 1 km, DK1Hostel features concierge services, rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. I had a wonderful stay in this hostel well located between Chaweng beach and the main walking street of the entire island. But mostly what makes the difference here is the genuinely and the love of the owner, an amazing woman who puts effort and care for the guests that will let you feel like home. I will keep beautiful memories about her and her welcoming hostel. Thank you!

Situated in Lamai, 80 metres from Rocky's Beach, The Rock Samui - formerly known as The Rock Residence - SHA Extra Plus features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a... The service provided by the staff and most of all Jerome were excellent. We got all what we requested and even the additional free breakfasts. All hotel is super clean, the cleaners are passing regularly and do a good job. The swimming pool is using a salted water system, which is ecological and free of chemical substances. The family room with big bunk beds for the children and living room with small kitchenette and TV was very comfortable. The kitchen and playing room (with board games) on the first floor. The coffee is just one floor down. Nice hotel beach and nearby beaches were excellent and clean. Free kayaks and paddle board provided by hotel. Good jogging routes around the hotel. Massage place and local restaurants nearby the hotel.

Located in Bangrak, Samui Backpacker Hotel is a 1-minute walk from a pier that can take guests to Ko Phangan and the famous full moon parties. Great location just far enough away from main road for quiet, cool outdoor area, incredibly clean.

Chill Inn Lamai Hostel & Beach Cafe features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Koh Samui. PERFECT ! The both branches are my favorite places to stay in in entire Thailand . I liked the one next to the harbor way more though .
