Just Walk Backpacker Hostel offers a sun terrace.... Everything is great in this hostel. The owner is very friendly and helpful, he can give you good recommendations. The beds have maximum privacy with good curtains and walls and each have a plug, light and quite big locker. There was a bathroom inside my room but also more of them outside. It was clean. The location is excellent for going by train or bus to Taroko, also a supermarket is next door. There is free water, tea, instant coffee, and many maps available. I would come again.

Bayhouse Comfortel Hualien Hostel offers simple and affordable accommodation in Hualien City. Free WiFi can be enjoyed throughout the property. The girl at the reception was very friendly and flexible. There was a nice common space where travelers can meet(Not noisy at night). Our stay was very short but if we stayed longer, maybe we could meet new people. Closed to the station, a delicious bakery and a convenient store. Our room was without window but very specious and clean.
