Well located in the West District district of Taichung, Star Hostel Taichung Parklane is located on the top floors of Green Park Lane Shopping Centre. It is 700 metres from Kuangsan SOGO Dept. This is my second time staying here. Again, I had an amazing experience. Stayed in an all female dorm this time. The bed was comfy, the bedsheets/pillows clean and smelling nicely, and a big fluffy duvet to go with that. A thick black out curtain offers a lot of privacy. The room was spotless. The storage area for your belongings just outside the dorm was great. Big lockers & very secure (open with your room card, so no need to carry your own lock). Extra railings available in addition to the lockers for coats, shoes etc. Toilets, showers kept spotless. A lot of little touches like a hair straightener available in the bathroom and small toiletries (ie cotton pads). Breakfast was great and the hostel caters for vegetarians. Their tea/coffee facilities & little kitchen corner are handy. At this time of the year, they even had hot chocolate available! The common spaces are kept clean. Many options, whether you want to hang out with others or do a little work. Check in and out very smooth. Staff were lovely. Be prepared to wait a little for the lift as it is shared with everyone else in the building. And I suppose it was extra busy given that it was Christmas... But it's no big deal really! Definitely will stay again.... and again...

The room is clean, spacious and full of amenities. It located in a modern building with 8 floors. My friend and I stayed on 7th floor. We booked a mix of dorm rooms 1 week prior to coming to Taichung. The bathroom is spacious and convenient as well. My friend really liked the space of bathroom. What I liked most is the lobby with cafe pantry. We can have breakfast, cafe and work there. The view of the city is nice as well. The location is nearby many restaurants and places. We just walked around 400-500 meters (around 10-15mins )

Backpacker 41 Hostel is a quaint setting located in Taichung. Free WiFi is covered in public area and free parking space is offered. Each room here will provide you with air conditioning. The hostel is directly in front of 7 Eleven and near Taichung train station and several bus stops so it's not very difficult to navigate the area. The room is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is also very nice and accommodating.

Situated in Dajia and within 31 km of Fengjia Night Market, 福棧 Full.Inn has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The staff and manager were incredibly kind! The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the heart of culture and activities. Highly recommend!
