Set 200 metres from Jiaoxi Railway Station, Hostel Tomato 番茄溫泉青旅 offers rooms with air conditioning in Jiaoxi. The hostel is conveniently located near the train station, it has been well maintained and kept very clean. The staff sent us clear instruction on self check-in because we had a late arrival. The interactions with staff before and during our stay were efficient and professional. It is a place we would like to stay again.

Situated in Luodong and with Luodong Railway Station reachable within 1.4 km, Yilan Inspiration features a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and a shared lounge. I loved the atmosphere, the staff were super nice and helpful. The dorm decoration was innovative and super comfortable. The hostel was clean and bright. Although it's a bit far from the city center, it's located near a river and it's very pretty.

The owner went truly above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. He was ready to help even with the smallest of problems and also introduced the entire region and its history to me. He was also very resourceful with recommendations in the entire area all the way to Jiaoxi (not just the county). Additionally, he was kind enough to drive me on his scooter and guide me through the large temple nearby and also took me to a huge local night market that is organized only on certain days in the month. He truly made my experience exceptional and I will always positively look back on the time I spent there.

The hosts are very warm and friendly too, shared local specialties and guided me on hiking the CaoLing trail. Had an enjoyable stay here.
