We really couldn’t of asked for anything more, we arrived late (early hours in the morning), and the key was left on the desk for us to let ourselves into our room. We were given the choice of which room we’d like to stay in too. Breakfast was amazing, we were even treated to extra fruit! We were helped out with booking a boat tour, and the owner even got us some dinner before we caught our night bus, as we were going to be short on time to have a shower and get food after our tour. We cannot recommend this hostel enough in Halong!

Situated on beautiful Cat Ba Island, The Oversleep Catba Hostel sits along Lan Ha Bay and is just a 10-minute walk from Cat Ba Market and steps from the ferry terminal. Rooms offer balconies with views of Cat Ba Bay or the city. The staff is amazing. From the first moment I felt so welcomed. If I had any questions they would know the answers or help me to the right tools. The hostel itself is very modern (it just openend) and clean. The beds are good and the toilets and shower are nice (and seperated from eachother). In the evening they have a happy hour when you get free beer at the pool bar. We had lots of fun! I only booked one night but that quickly became two because I had a great time ☺️
