Situated on beautiful Cat Ba Island, The Oversleep Catba Hostel sits along Lan Ha Bay and is just a 10-minute walk from Cat Ba Market and steps from the ferry terminal. Rooms offer balconies with views of Cat Ba Bay or the city. This was probably the best hostel we’ve stayed in during three months travelling in the region. It’s very new so everything is in perfect condition, but it’s also all very well thought out. Plenty of storage space in the dorms, nice warm reading lights and good thick curtains around the beds to block out light. Bathrooms are great - very clean, with nice, powerful (and hot if you want) showers. The staff are also wonderful. Toby at the front desk is smiley, warm and always happy to help. Pa Pa in the restaurant/bar is such a beautiful soul and made us feel so welcome every time we walked in the room. The rest of the staff whose names I sadly don’t know made our stay that much better - always smiling and making us feel like we were staying in more than “just” a hostel. Thank you Toby, Pa Pa and everyone else in the team for everything you do!

There's great swimming pool and restaurant with good food! Staff was very helpful, they even picked me up from bus stop and dropped me off on day on my departure!! If I come again to Cat Ba I'll stay here for sure!! Thank you for everything!!

It was a very good experience to stay at the bungalow on the shore. Nice staffs, comfortable facilities, and amazing location for my trip. I wish I could have stayed longer.
