The free breakfast is all you can eat off the breakfast menu and really makes the cost of the stay a great value.

He helped us organise a boat trip with kayaking and swimming, as well as recommending the nearby beach and a scenic route. We were only there for 2 days and 1 night and had to cut the second day short because of a storm warning. We would not have been able to maximise our time on Cat Ba without Vu! The hostel was also very comfortable, the loveliest staff at the downstairs restaurant, and would definitely recommend their mango smoothie, you will not regret it! There is also a rooftop bar with a great view of the harbour, where locals sometimes set off fireworks.

The location is good and you can do almost everything on foot or rent a scooter at the hotel. Great place to socialize, as there is a restaurant next to the hotel.
