Privately located guesthouse at the foot of the sierras chicas. You have the solar heated swimming pool all for yourself. The pool has a beautiful view over the valley Rio Pinto and beautiful sunsets and skies full of stars. There is a big terrace at the house, which is located in a very charming garden, an 'asador' and a comfortable dinnertable with chairs outside. The house is decorated nicely and all beds have cotton sheets and good quality towels etc. The kitchen is small but fully equipped. Outdoor activities are closeby as well as a golfcourse in La Cumbre and in Asconchinga. Los Cocos is in between both La Cumbre and Capilla del Monte, on 5 km distance. You can walk into the sierras direct from our garden. Own parking in the garage.
I am a woman with an independent mind, Dutch nationality. My husband is from the Netherlands too. We live partly in the Netherlands and partly in Argentina with our 3 dogs. I love reading, walking with my dogs or in the mountains, I am an employment lawyer and next to that I am learning for silversmith. I like to cook and taste wines from all parts of South America although I believe Argentina has the best :) Life motto: love life!
Los Cocos is a small town of 1.500 inhabitants (outside the summer season). It is excellently located between Capilla del Monte (Uriturco) and la Cumbre (traditional and beautiful golf course), both around 5 km away. Rio PInto is close by to go with the family and do a picknick or to do parapente. You can ride horses in the area as well as hiking and mountainbiking in the sierras. Coming back home you can do an asado together and relax in the pool. Or go to La Cumbre where the restaurants are becoming more and more gastronomic. For the children there is Los Cocos Parque and the Labirint so for everybody and for every age it is fun here. You are surrounded by nature but not remote. A bus is stopping in front of the house, going to La Cumbre and to Capilla del Monte. A night bus stops in Los Cocos to Cordoba and Buenos Aires.
