Sheer Pleasure accommodation is located on a quiet slope with tranquil water and town views. Our guests love being in the heart of THe Tarkine. allow at least 3 to 4 days to visit the many attractions Dip River falls, Trowutta Arches, Arthur River cruises and Woolnorth tours to name a few . Stanley Village is a 15 minuite drive east. Our guests love the ambience we share , whilst located at the river end of the main Street in Smithton.
David and Heather built Sheer Pleasure accommodation, located on a hill overlooking the town of Smithton, and Duck Bay. We love sharing the peaceful ambience with our guests, and the feedback has been incredible.
Smithton is located a picturesque 40 minute drive , east from the Burnie Wynyard airport, and a gorgeous 1 hour 40 minute coastal drive when travelling on the Spirit of Tasmania into Devonport. Smithton is a rich agricultural area, with diversity of industry. Smithton is the home of Cape Grim beef, and Wagyu beef, Fresh Oysters, .The largest dairying area in Tasmania with herds of up to 1800 cows common. Aquaculture is another major industry. Smithton is a busy little town, with specialty shopping available to browse . A 30 minute drive east or west will showcase the natural beauty. Stanley Village is a gorgeous short drive East with farm land on one side and water views the other . upon arrival back at Sheer Pleasure the following day choose a visit west seeing the incredible green pastures on the way. The edge of the world,, Arthur River and the wild coastal area, famous for surfing at Marrawah. Another day travel inland to the Trowutta Arches, the milkshakes reserve and the Julius River all must see attractions. Every season has its own spectacular beauty .
