If you are looking to escape the hussle and bussle of busy life and need somewhere to simply relax and enjoy this is a perfect getaway. Do as little or as much as you like - plenty of activity on offer or just simply relax and unwind. 5 Bedroom Property Perfect for 2 families to enjoy each others company however still have the privacy of their own space - with two separate kitchens , living m bathrooms and Verandah areas Ramps for access into property Back Of home - large back deck overlooking Rainforest situated at your back yard Front of home - Own Private Courtyard Walk through he rainforest and to the beach within 3-5 mins Enjoy a morning walk along the Coastal walk which spans from town CBD through to Lighthouse beach - This property sits mid way through the walk. This property backs onto a rainforest with a few mins from the beach you can listen to the sound of the birds and waves while relaxing on the back deck Large comfortable L shape Lounge , Internet and smart TV in each Walk to restaurants / cafes and bars in the local area or 10 min drive into town Position Position
Our Family moved to this beautiful area in 2001 - like many we had spent time on holidays in Port Macquarie with our young children and decided this was the place for us to settle - we have never looked back. We purchased Sunnyside Retreat in 2014 which was in need of huge renovation. This property is only just down the road from our own home and knowing the area so well we can attest to the central location to beaches , shops, Walking trails and more Time flew by and it was not until 2021 that we took the property back to is bare frame and started again all brand new . We have now opened this home for travellers and vistor's to the area to enjoy. We take pride in making sure the property is perfectly presented and ready for your stay. It is an absolute pleasure hosting large families and providing the opportunity for the families to all come together in one place yet being able to offer the privacy of two separate parts of the property. I understand when you are visiting in a new area you will crave for local knowledge - the best restaurants , where to entertain the kids , local markets and my favourites and maybe secret parts of Port Macquarie. Our Welcome Book provides this and more and I will always ensure I remind you of any upcoming events / markets which may occur during your stay We have a small Herb Garden to provide you fresh herbs and you may be luck enough to happen across one of our local Koalas making their way from the back Rainforest through to the street. This property is where family memories are made and we love being part of creating that As a host it is important to me that you have an absolutely wonderful stay and Sunnyside Retreat is all that you are expecting and more
