The sands are long and wide, and surrounded by coconut palms except for occasional rocky areas where natural pools are formed at low tide offering excellent snorkeling opportunities. The warm Atlantic waters and numerous freshwater lagoons and rivers are an abundant source of fish and seafood. The area is famous for his downwind, ideal for Kitesurfing. Sand skiing, boarding, buggy and quad excursions are popular activities to see the spectacular sand dunes of the area. Magnificent sunsets and sunrises are best admired from the highest dunes.
