The location is amazing… Steps away from a convenience store, delicious restaurant, and the best coffee and pastries on the island! The view from our villa was the absolute best part of our stay! We spent a lot of our time just lounging on our deck, watching the waves come in, and enjoying the ocean breeze! Rudy and Kanoe are exceptional hosts, and they made us feel right at home! The grounds are beautifully kept, and Kanoe’s artwork throughout the property makes it so extremely special! We loved our time at Tropical Sands, and would highly recommend it to anyone else coming to Rarotonga! Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Muri Beach, Tropical Sands offers accommodations with a large terrace and ocean or garden views. Enjoy free bicycle rental. The tour desk books lagoon cruises, scuba diving, snorkeling trips and cultural dinners with traditional dancing. Whale watching cruises are available between July and October. All self-contained accommodations features a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave and refrigerator. A fan, TV is provided and DVD players are available on request. Both hosts are talented artists and their artwork is displayed in the gallery and gift shop. Wi-Fi and airport transfers are available for an extra cost. From Tropical Sands Villas, it is a 5-minute drive to central Muri where a range of beachfront restaurants, shops and cafés can be found. Rarotonga International Airport is 15 minutes’ drive away.
