The house is in the middle of the magical encounter between the jungle and the sea. There the contemplation and blending with nature is unique, because it is a house that is open to the outside so the mountainn is merge with it. Enjoy the song of thousands of birds as you marvel at the sunrise. Especially suitable for bird lovers. In the house there is absolute privacy and tranquility. The rooms have comfortable beds that are inside a giant mosquito net. The kitchen is comfortable and well equipped. You can cook with the exquisite taste of firewood (firewood for 1 fire included) as it has a wood stove and oven. Near the oven there is a very nice patio to cook, have a drink and watch the stars. We have sunbeds and a dining room for seven people overlooking the sea. There is a comfortable sofa and hammocks for reading and resting. The house has a small studio with a table for working. The bathroom is outside and is surrounded by mosaic tiles overlooking the jungle. The cold water shower is perfect for cooling off from the heat and sun. We built recently a small pool that also can be used to enjoy. The house is rented with a delicious colombian breakfast (7 to 10 - with arepa, egg, butter, cheese, fruits, coffee, milk, chocomilk) included and basic daily housekeeping. These services are provided by Yuranis a loving hostess who will greet you and help you settle in. It is your choice if you want to hire Yuranis to cook the meals that are not included (60 thousand pesos per day /+10‘000 to drive to Palomino for buy food /+the food). To arrange your own schedule or if you want total privacy please let Yuranis know directly. Also included is firewood for 1 night, fresh bath towels to shower, and a waterfilter system in the kitchen.

Sediel, Yuranis' husband, can provide motorcycle cab and home delivery services if you need anything from Palomino. There are several restaurants in Palomino that have delivery service to the gate of the farm, which is 300 meters from the house on the main road. In the house there is Wifi, you must take into consideration that the Wifi signal is basic and precarious, since the house is located in the jungle. The mobile operators that work best are Claro and Tigo. The internet of the mobile operators is also intermittent, sometimes very good, sometimes null. If you need help with your luggage, Pupilo will be happy to bring your luggage to the house (for an extra charge of 20,000 pesos). If towels get colored by colored hair they have to get paid.

We are located on the mountainside, 300 meters uphill from the main road. It is important to know that the street up is very steep. To get there we built a path with stone tracks that allow you to drive 4x4 vehicles up to the parking lot of the house. If you do not have a 4x4 vehicle there is a parking area within the farm where you can leave your car safely 200 meters from the house. If you do not have a car, the ten minute walk from the road to the house is beautiful and at the end is rewarded by the breathtaking view of the sea. To access the sea you have to get to the principal road, walk 100 meters and enter through the private access of Mrs. Lucy's property. Yuranis will show you the way. The coast is beautiful to explore here. The beach is open sea, it is a very strong sea. Caution and care must always be taken. It is recommended to stay close to the shore. You can make a beautiful one hour walk along the beach to the mouth of the Palomino River (to the right side). Towards the other side (left) of the beach you can also walk twenty minutes to a large rock with spectacular scenery and perfect for watching sunsets. We are 30 minutes from Tayrona Park, 15 minutes from Rio Don Diego, 20 minutes from Quebrada Valencia and 3 kilometers from Palomino. In an hour drive to Riohacha you can reach the Pink Flamingo Reserve Park.
