As soon as you step inside, you'll be struck by the stunning 180 degree views of Costa Rica's South Pacific coastline including the famous Whale's tail of Uvita. Built on a ridge-line of the mountain, in the jungle over-looking the ocean, of course - its an experience you won´t soon forget. Ok, more about the incredible location they call Canavida - Imagine relaxing in your private pool as you watch the sun melt into ocean while you try and take mental snapshots of the Avatar-like landscape of the single most bio-diverse place on planet Earth. Neighbourhood information

The road up, Calle La Union, is a good road, but it’s still a mountain road through a jungle, we recommend 4WD if you have a choice, its not critical for access but does ensure a more comfortable trip regardless of the weather. LOCAL ACTIVITIES / THINGS TO DO: * Surfing: all year long- Chaman Beach, Hermosa Beach or Dominical Beach. * Dolphin and whale watching from August to Oct & mid December to February @ Ballena Marine National Park. * Natural wonders like the Whale Tail: formation of rocks and sand that forms a "Moses Pass" where two parts of the sea meet and can be traversed at low tide. * Walking or hiking - Ecological Reserve * Envision Festival in February * Mangrove in Wetlands Térraba Sierpe * Snorkeling in Caño Island - 45 min to Manuel Antonio, Quepos - 25 min to Nauyaca Waterfalls The home has plenty of parking in the driveway.
