La Chonta is a tranquil retreat located just a few minutes from downtown Mindo, nestled in a private and secluded area surrounded by lush vegetation and abundant wildlife. The style of La Chonta is rustic, immersing you in the wilderness of the forest while ensuring every modern comfort is available. The common areas are primarily situated on the outdoor porch, featuring a fully equipped communal kitchen, BBQ station, dining area, lounge, and hammocks, all with views of the garden-forest. Over 80 species of birds have been spotted from our porch. This porch is the heart of our home, a place where guests often forge personal connections, bond with family and friends, and build a sense of community. Our rooms are cozy and comfortable, each spaciously designed (12 sqm - 18 sqm) with views of the garden-forest. We are also 420 friendly.

La Chonta is in the middle of the forest, with no neighbors and lots of wildlife. "Punto Ornitologico" and the center of Mindo are at walking distance on a beatiful countryside dirt road, just minutes away from La Chonta.
